Electronic waste management with the Modawi eANV solution

First electronic consignment note sent through ZKS

The electronic records procedure continues to make progress. On August 21, 2009, BSB Braubach/Berzelius Metall succeeded in sending a record to Sonderabfallmanagement-Gesellschaft Rheinland-Pfalz (SAM), using their waste management software david.net with the Modawi eANV solution integrated into it.

Hamburg – Since August 18, 2009, the ZKS is open for business. It has replaced the Mini-ZKS intended as an interim solution. On August 21, 2009, BSB Braubach/Berzelius Metall sent the first electronic consignment note through the ZKS to Sonderabfallmanagement-Gesellschaft Rheinland-Pfalz (SAM). The company used its existing waste management software david.net (manufactured by zwei R software) with Modawi integration.

Modawi is the eANV solution (eANV is the Ordinance on Electronic Waste Recovery and Disposal Records) produced by Consist ITU. This software handles the electronic records procedure as required by the Ordinance on Waste Recovery and Disposal Records, and is transparently integrated into existing waste management software. More than 20 software companies and more than 30 clients from waste management have already chosen Modawi.
